Sarah Jordan of Jordan Williams Law Ltd.

I have practised as a family solicitor in Poole and Wimborne, Dorset for more than 10 years. After spending some time teaching English in Greece, I returned to England and did a doctorate in microbiology. I then carried out microbiological research specializing in food poisoning. I then decided it was time for a career change.

I studied for my law degree with the Open University, then passed the Legal Practice Course with a distinction at Bournemouth University before completing my training contract with a local firm of Dorset solicitors.

Moving on from that firm I co-founded a Wimborne based firm of Solicitors. David joined that firm in January 2012. In order to provide the best and service for our clients David and I left in August 2013 to establish a new practice based in Corfe Mullen and Ferndown specialising in divorce, family matters and road traffic offences.

My children keep my feet firmly on the ground and I am a governor at a local secondary school. During my free time I like to curl up with a book or go sailing with my family.

I have always felt that some law firms can fall short in the way they support their clients. I pride myself on giving a personal service and as a working mother I understand the pressures on modern family life.
